Hey at least the Homeless Industrial Complex in California made a bunch of people millionaires, while doubling the homeless rate, increasing spending 100x in 15 years, and leaving citizens to fend for themselves from being raped by a drug addict on the street or stabbed for wearing a nice purse. true, but my main point is the "leading cause of homelessness is medical debt" narrative is true statistically, but also drives short term rather than long term homelessness. and those people generally seek out shelters. drug addicts who spend years on the street don't, and stay homeless much longer. we declared a war on homelessness and fought the wrong causes, and we fought them ineffectually.

I mean, the fact that medical debt can ever lead to homelessness is a pretty big indictment on our system. If government would get out of the way I could go to a cheaper doctor if I can't afford a really good one. Then everybody wins. Except BIG GOVERNMENT.

true, medical debt leading to homelessness is an indictment of the medical system, rather than a factor to fix homelessness, specifically encampments.

I don't support it one way or another. I simply don't think about it because there are less trans people than there are autistic people. Why would I spend ANY part of my day thinking about chicks with dicks? You guys, on the other hand, seem to think about it A LOT. Why is that?
