gender is the psychological perception of someones sex ! the important thing is, it is basically always the same as the actual persons sex in healthy people, as its just a trait of being a certain sex so to say. if you perceive your psychological sex to be different than your biological one, you are basically sick as you arent a fully functional individual

the much more fun part of this is how the word gender came into existence you see, there was a "scientist" from new zealand named john money, who was doing his "research" by persuading a child's parents to change the child's sex and then watched how that would affect the child's psychology then for more research he made that kid have sex with his (her now) brother, while he watched all of it, again, for "research purposes"
