no source ive found says that garage tie handles, commonly made of simple rope, are commonly tied via a noose. in fact it seems this noose style rope is uncommon, exceedingly rare given no other examples of the noose were found on that race track or any other.

someone tied a noose, then Bubba was randomly assigned to the garage that had it. unlucky for nascar to be sure. but it was a noose, even if not meant for bubba. like i said he reacted in a sensitive manner.

a noose is negative as connotation only if we make it. a cowboy lasso is a noose if we think about it. cowboys usually use nooses for cattle, sacks, etc. not to lynch blacks.

i get that you're deeply dug in here but you also seem to be just ignoring reality. cowboys lassos generally have only a few loops in the knot, nooses for hanging tend to have 6 or more because what works to hang a man doesnt work to twirl and grab a cow as well.

that rope was tied IMO on purpose into a noose, that's my opinion and i think reasonable. what fact is that it wasnt targeted at Bubba. and him and his team got triggered by it, somewhat understandably, then it was proven to pre-date their visit. and he stayed butthurt, which is just him being sensitive. but if it were common to tie ropes into nooses for garage door pull downs we've had seen many more examples, and we havent, but we've seen many tied in non-noose knotted loops.

it was prob just some loser who did it as a joke, whether he was racist or not idk and i dont care, he was just being dumb and caused an issue he never foresaw.

I don't disagree it was made as a noose on purpose, the problem is proving it was made with ill intent when it was used to open and close the garage door lol.

good, im not trying to do that. i think it was done as dark humor, but id also be silly to discount all chance of racism in the south let alone in nascar. not that this was racism at Bubba. ive seen idiot rednecks with a noose in their truck on the rear view mirror, thats not racism at a specific black guy, but u bet ur ass they are racists and mean it that way.
