You'd fail trying. If you believe the Earth is flat then you are well beyond reason. The christian church never claimed a flat Earth. Humans were aware the Earth was round centuries before christianity existed. There's also a difference between the two scenarios. The Earth not being the centre of the universe was based on insufficient knowledge. That mental health patients are in prison is based on sufficient knowledge.
