Germany didn't start WW1 a clusterfuck started WW1. And most of Germany's self recriminations are specific to the nazi's, for good reason. The German people suffered far more under the nazi's than Russian people are suffering under Putin. An argument can be made that aside from the USSR, noone suffered more than German citizens under Hitler. That includes the jews who were killed, as a great many of them were German citizens.
