And who gets to decide what is or isn't "misinformation"? For example, folks were still getting banned from social media for saying that vaccines would not prevent people from spreading the virus to others at a time when this state of affairs was already the settled scientific consensus and demonstrated by various high-quality studies. The truth on one of the most relevant questions of the moment was censored and labeled 'misinformation' because social media mods had an agenda and/or failed to keep up with the actual science.
