I've changed my stances on the death penalty (now against) and abortion (now against), from discussions on this forum.

I supported Obama as an authoritarian Liberal back in 08’. Now Im Conservative and moderately authoritarian now.

However be careful. There are one or two posters here that are annoying and voluminous to the point that it truly ruins productive discussions, which started mid 2019. If these two people were banned, the IQ of the forum might rise 10 points. However we are very free speech here and dont ban people easily.

I dont think people are capable of changing their politics after a certain age, but there are some exceptions.

I moved to the right over time but I move to the left for some select issues.

There's historically been examples of people updating their positions after exchanges on PaRD; however, that's becoming less common as times goes on. It mirrors the real-world polarization we see in modern politics.

Increasingly PaRD is filled with spam threads from right-wing users. The fact that they're right-wing threads isn't inherently bad, but the fact that they're spam is.
