Reddit is such a cesspool. The mods need some kind of oversight and the downvote button should be removed like on youtube. It discourages most people from having real discussions, but you wore a mask to get around it rofl.

Only place I've ever gotten banned from was r/conservative and suspension on jsp.

Y'all are just snowflakes. Maybe don't blatantly break the rules and you won't get banned.

I wouldn't count suspensions because they acknowledge a degree of grace and forgiveness, they allow you to make a decision.

I don't even remember. It was an incredibly mild criticism of Trump. Just pointing out something basic like a correction to job numbers.

This is the funny thing. Right-wingers are far more ban happy than left-wingers. My favorite is Dave Rubin, the "free speech absolutist" blocking people for tweeting him pictures of American flag toilet paper.

I've been banned dozens of times on random ip/email accounts with nothing to link them from front page subs, almost always for posting factual and sourced comments the mods want to censor. Post about the fact Ilhan Omar married her brother, that's a paddling. Post about crime statistics or cloth masks being ineffective or the bell curve, that's a paddling. Post facts about the Rittenhouse or George Floyd trials, power subs will try to ban you from every sub. That's pretty normal fare, its why I don't get attached to account names and just fart out new ones, at least, if I want to bother posting on reddit, which I rarely do. But it was during the impeachment saga that I registered u/EricCiaramella that the admins came after me and started dropping tactical nukes on IP rangebans and stuff, so I have to figure they hit a lot of random folks who live near me, but of course doesn't bother me in the slightest.

You just created 100x new Republicans (or at least libertarians) in your area by showing them the truth of this treacherous world.

you don't think conservative spaces don't ban people? i got banned from mgtow (before it got banned) for questioning what's wrong with a middle eastern fellow being in europe. Some mod ranted about white people being replaced in the message of the ban. perhaps they should rename the movement wmgtow?
