Like already said, most electric cars can last for close to three days running only the heater. Plus, I'm not so sure how much sunlight the solar panels would catch in a snow storm.

i'd guess none due to cloud cover and snow cover on the panels themselves.

one of the bigger issues is that EVs tend to be over-engineered which is simply more risk to the user in a suvival situation.

like i seen a video earlier of a guy stuck outside his model 3 because the door handles froze over super easy due to the flush design.

He said a tesla can run for 3 days. Im 100% sure he is basing that on a full charge. Or on a full charge can it run for 5 days? I bet thats not true or hed have said it. The reality is a lot of people will be on low charge in that situation and way way way below 3 days. And while a regular car can be refilled with a gas can, you cant bring charge to an EV.
