You're the one in favor of defunding DPs, I'm against it and this is just another issue that shows defunding makes matter worse, thread title suggests that. Last week I posted a thread of the effects in Chicago with sources posted, you simply denied
You can deny all you want this dumb chit only makes matters worse no matter what you say
Cool story.
You bought into the OP without good reason, and now can't acknowledge it.
For real, you should look into civil asset forfeiture. They've been stealing from citizens all across the country for decades now. NEVER travel with cash. They will steal it if they find it.

You are both focusing too much attention on which came first the chicken or the egg. Civil asset fofeiture has been around for some time already and cops have been abusing it. Now because of budget cuts this is an avenue that they will start abusing it with revitalised vigor. Legalised theft, sweet let's instead stop people for non DUI related checks. Search cars for non probable causes, if they ask then say drugs. Oh what's that you got there? A couple hundred dollars cash. Sorry that's drug money you have no say we will take it, thank you very much.
Then there is other more serious things like your vehicle and even your house.
It will be avoidance game from now. Unless reform is going to take place. Police profiling is just going to intensify. Especially for poor looking black people not because they are black but because they are most likely to carry cash and or drugs in the mind of the law. Police won't be police it will be who looks like an easy bag of money for me to take.
I mean, civil asset forfeiture has been a problem for decades. It's pretty silly to link it to the movements to defund the police. If you don't want me to point that out don't make dumb claims in the thread title.
