Idk about chump change. I purchased an $80,000 vehicle a few years ago with $25,000 down. I pay over $800 a month for it. I wouldn’t call that affordable by any means when most people look for a payment that is at most half of that.

If you purchased an 80k vehicle, you should have zero problems getting an EV. You can get a Hyundai/Kia/Nissan for significantly cheaper.
