People having different gifts is not the same as gifts not existing.

What is gifted depends on how you look at it. We assign certain things "gifted" and others "normal", but its just dependent on what we value. In time gifted will change.

So its kinda arbitrary. Theres plenty of useful skills that wont get you into a gifted class.

theres nothing wrong with acknowledging and encouraging the gifts of those who have them, whether thats science and math or athletics and art. to stifle any of them in the name of social justice is criminally wrong.

Gifted classes aren't something anybody can join like sports are.

But what is encouraged is kinda arbitrary. We dont encourage art the same way we do other gifts. Theres a lot of gifts that are more important that are ignored. Athletics is probably the bottom of the barrel for what we should be encouraging honestly.
