Yea, I tend to take some amount of personal pride in teaching people there's more to the world then aligning with people based on objectifications they cannot change.

There is so much culture out in the world, For better or worse these various cultures define what it means to have a sense of belonging, and who we are as people.

To see people throw all that away to simply align their beliefs with a group based on their skin color is almost the definition of reductive.

We all belong somewhere, even if you dont agree with were that somewhere is.

At some point along the way we changed the classification of slavery from being the spoils of the conqueror, to the self entitled rights of my skin color.

That aforementioned catalyst stole their culture, belief systems, heritage, and commonality from entire groups of people simply because their skin color was anything but white.

After generations of stealing the foundations of what made these people who they are, they were forced to find a new commonality, despite the fact the fact that their skin color was the same, they did not come from the same places.

First of all, you're not white, you're brown.

Secondly, there's no such thing as white culture from a world perspective (there's no black, brown, yellow, or red culture either). Within a nation, you can certainly have white, black, brown, etc. culture but you are VERY different from a white German or a white Swede in terms of culture.

When people speak of white culture, we're referring to "American white culture" and that is something you will never be a part of.

you are 100% correct you cannot steal it, it does still exist. However, The people that were stolen from their homes, supplanted here to endure generations of slavery, disenfranchisement, and poverty. They have forgotten it, it has become a part of a past they've never known.
