Drugs and cereal aren't even close to being the same, you're just being disingenuous.
What's the difference between a guy that eats cereal for breakfast every day, and a guy that shoots up heroin every day?
You lost this argument trying to argue simple sugars are somehow equivalent to mind-altering drugs. You are insane.
They're exactly the same thing. Obesity and obesity-related disease is the #1 cause of both death and disability. Bar none. That's it, right there. Drugs and alcohol aren't even second, or third.
Turns out, breakfast cereal, soda, fast food, the ready supply of hand to mouth is far more harmful, FAR more harmful, than all the recreational drugs on the planet combined.
Sucks to understand that your day to day is more harmful to life than the next guy's doesn't it?
The difference between the guy that starts his day, btw, eating a bowl of cereal vs shooting up heroin? Assuming both go to work and get their job done correctly, there's no difference to me. Though to be honest, and having worked with my share of addicts, the usual addict carries out their day without imbibing before or during work. They wait until their time is their own. On the flipside, the 400 pound landwhale, like Thor, brings their four party sized bag of chips and 128 ounce super gulp to work and chews and slurps them in your ear all day, then acts upset that you won't invite them over for Football Sunday.
And if you don't think simple sugars are a mind altering substance, you're either ignorant, or a science denier.
