We don’t buy it. You’re thinking of capitalism. We work for it.

Karl Marx was a fat lazy pos his opinions mean nothing. I'll take free market system with regulations thank you very much. Capitalism is just a word, a word coined by your idol. My family moved from communist Poland to the USA because communism is fucked up.

If you think other wise, read history books lol

We Communists have been reproached with the desire of abolishing the right of personally acquiring property as the fruit of a man’s own labour, which property is alleged to be the groundwork of all personal freedom, activity and independence.

Hard-won, self-acquired, self-earned property! Do you mean the property of petty artisan and of the small peasant, a form of property that preceded the bourgeois form? There is no need to abolish that; the development of industry has to a great extent already destroyed it, and is still destroying it daily.

Or do you mean the modern bourgeois private property?

But does wage-labour create any property for the labourer? Not a bit. It creates capital, i.e., that kind of property which exploits wage-labour, and which cannot increase except upon condition of begetting a new supply of wage-labour for fresh exploitation. Property, in its present form, is based on the antagonism of capital and wage labour…

Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.”

The communist working man exists to behead Zuckerberg and Bezos and Gates. They fight to break the chains laid upon us by the elite so we can forge a path of hard work and self acquired success made supreme.

Men who bow to the capitalists aren’t rugged individuals. They are boot-licking slaves arguing on behalf of their own slavery.

That is an apology, in the rhetorical sense not in the "I'm sorry sense" and then a lament. There is nothing there indicating encouragement for the individual to individually solve their own problem.

In fact if you are intellectually honest about it . . . the whole concept of communism revolves around the idea that the individual is utterly helpless to solve his plight on his own, and why? Because the rich elite he is up against are too powerful. So what is the solution? Band together and use force to "break the chains" etc. etc., there is no solving your own problems on your own in communism, only the solutions that can be obtained through the unity of the movement.

If you want real pure individualism and self reliance its old school Austrian classical economists, free market types, libertarians. . . about as far away from communists as you can get.

By way of analogy, the communist would be the group of guys who cannot get a chick on their own, but they are pretty sure they are entitled to get to have a woman, and that it must be the rich elites keeping them from it, so they band together as a group and just go rape one. And then write beautiful prose about how it wasn't rape at all, and how if any violence transpired its some rich persons fault really.

Let me tell you about the misinformation spread about the Kyle Rittenhouse issue, by left media.

According to many leftists I've talked with over the last month, both in person, and online: (this is just a small list.)

Kyle shot 3 black men.

Kyle brought a weapon over state lines.

Kyle used a fully automatic weapon.

Kyle was/is a white supremacist.

Kyle lied under oath about how old he was.

Kyle wasn't part of the community of Kenosha.

Kyle has a record of misdemeanors. (My mother said this one.)

I haven't seen anyone claim that he shot 3 black people, that he used an automatic weapon, etc. I'm not sure how anyone could believe that since it's so easy to debunk. I've heard that Kyle brought a weapon over state lines but I think that's a bit more reasonable to believe given that he couldn't legally purchase the weapon. If I recall correctly, he had his friend buy it for him instead. Anyway, is it the left media propagating (also what constitutes "left media?") those lies or a bunch of idiots just reading something on Twitter and accepting it as fact? Lastly, it doesn't really answer my question because I never denied that there are people on the left who believe false information. I'm saying that it seems that the right buys into it way more.

Two of the more prominent examples that come to mind are the cases of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. We know as a matter of forensic record that Trayvon Martin was almost certainly on top of George Zimmerman when he was shot and that Zimmerman had suffered significant injuries as a result of their encounter. We are pretty confident that it was Zimmerman and not Martin calling for help. And yet the conventional understanding in a large chunk of the population is that Zimmerman ran down Martin in cold blood. Don't take my word for it.

His acquittal in July 2013 did little to alter the conventional belief that Zimmerman was a wannabe cop who profiled an innocent, unarmed teen, ran him down and shot him in cold blood.

Michael Brown's case is arguably even more egregious. He violently robbed a convenience store, then proceeded to attack and attempt to wrest the gun away from a cop who stopped him. Every credible witness backed up the official narrative, and a justice department review led by Eric Holder corroborated the official story. And yet the mantra "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" is still being recycled today.

These narratives are pushed by liberal outlets (e.g. CNN, MSNBC) because political polarization has created a market incentive for them to cater to a particular audience of increasingly liberals viewers. You see something very similar in the rise of alternative right-wing media outlets on the other side. I'm not sure what the solution to that is, but it's certainly more deeply ingrained than a few nutjobs on twitter.

Hey be careful with this kind of "hate speech" it'll get you banned from Twitter. You need to stick to civil discourse that is encouraged and accepted, like encouraging violent protests with burning and looting of private property the way Twitter intended things to be by golly~

If it’s cool to shoot wife beaters and pedophiles then why aren’t Republicans shooting cops and GOP Congressmen?
