I had a friend get jumped at a skate park one time.
His only defense was his skateboard, he ended up knocking 2 of them out holding hand to truck and aiming with his other truck.
He was smothered and beat within an inch of his life, he can't move the left side of his body now.

indeed, ive seen a video where a kid cracked a board over a dudes head and missed with the trucks by inches. lucky to not catch a manslaughter charge.
