Well at an extremely basic level, we have the 10 commandments. Number 9 is dont gossip. Gossip is on the same level as murder. And people cant even get that in their heads. So theres not a lot of Christians.

1. The commandment says gossip against your neighbor.
2. Of course its on equal footing with murder. Both murder and gossip are commandments. These are fundamental pillars of the faith. At an absolute minimum, the commandments are to be followed.
