Kids can definitely carry the virus - an inanimate object could carry the virus and we could technically label it a "covid case."

The only difference is that a biological vector that has the ability to move and spread its nasty germs to others gets more attention. I think when he says that kids can't get the virus, its just a commentary on the known fact that kids are so ridiculously unlikely to have a symptomatic case of Covid, that it is pretty much a statistical zero.

asymptomatic spread is a real thing, at the start of the pandemic we heard "this is so dangerous because u can have it and spread it without even knowing", then studies showed this wasnt the case, then it came full circle and now we're seeing asymptomatic people can spread the virus, kids among them.

Asymptomatic spread was never statistically significant because viral load is a factor in the severity. This fact is even more so now that all of the olds and fats are vaccinated.

The difference between you and me is that I understand the game theory of the virus and understand that everyone will get this eventually.

chances to spread are indeed lower, but we as adults dont often sit in a confined space with desks all 3 feet from each other for 8 hours a day, or all eat together in massive cafeterias. its a good day for me at work when i dont see a single person.
