She was an abuser. The cops were ready to arrest her over the actual physical evidence that she had been abusing her boyfriend, but he told them he didn’t want to press charges because he loved her. Typical behavior of someone who is abused.

If the genders were flipped this would be a tearjerker of a lifetime movie. Abuser gets away with the crime because the abused has Stockholm syndrome. Eventually the abuse gets so bad the abused locks the doors to the car and leaves the abuser in a National park. The abuser is then killed by a bear. Or maybe the abused kills the abuser and drives off tearfully. Either way, America would be 100% behind the abused.

Anyway, I’m cool with people who are abused killing their abusers. The cops obviously are impotent and don’t give any fucks. They had a chance to arrest her before she escalated again and they didn’t. This happens to abused women all the time.
