I would suggest they look for other employment. I would also suggest that they maintain this same level of resolve regarding medications whose testing involved the HEK-293 cell line, such as monoclonal antibody treatments should they get acute Covid illness. Ivermectin has also been tested with HEK-293 cells.

So, perhaps some sunlight and positive thoughts should suffice the truly committed.

If/when the choice is between a possible harm that could be a full help and a certain harm, the choice is clearly the possible harm.

On the flipside, there've been over 200 million positive cases of Covid that either had mild or no symptoms, where those who had it never had to be hospitalized.

Covid is a danger to the absolute minority. Nobody expects to have rocks fall on them out of a clear blue sky. Yet occasionally a rock can be thrown a fair distance due to whatever work is going on somewhere around, and hit you in the head from a clear blue sky. Does that mean that every person under the sun should be obligated to have a helmet grafted to their head?

Hek293 is used in everything. They are a very malleable cell line for doing things like propagating viral vectors. Very useful.

I think if hospitals weren't being overwhelmed by spikes of acute Covid illness among the unvaccinated, then all of this would be a different story. So long as one speaks to only individual risk then I believe they'll miss the primary point that those in favor of vaccination mandates are making: That "personal choice/risk" is now having a notable impact on the health of others/the vaccinated.

Indeed. I sure hope that people avoiding the vaccines due to HEK-293 concerns are also cleaning out their medicine cabinets. Tylenol, Advil, Aspirin, Aleve, and practically every top-10 prescribed medication in the US have been tested using HEK-293 or derivative cell lines.
