gotta love the selective outrage. do you guys honestly believe this would have gone any differently if a republican had won the election (except from maybe staying a couple more years)?
maybe look at all the other failed US wars, they always leave heaps of equipment behind.
the "funniest" part about the current spin - suggesting it was just left behind for the taliban to pick up, when the US rather "should of [sic] bombed" it - is that it was intended for the afghan army to use and defend against the taliban, and not just abandoned in perfect condition for anyone who wants to grab it.
really amusing to see how easily ignorant americans are fooled by such lazy propaganda. was it (the whole campaign, obviously including the withdrawal) a massive failure and "miscalculation"? obviously, but the attempt to spin this into a "evil joe biden is actively arming the taliban / chinese / russians while simultaneously grabbing guns from righteous americans" narrative is blatantly stupid, partisan hackery - but the usual suspects are uncritically eating that shit up - hook, line, and sinker...
this is not about republicans and some what if stories
biden fumbled the bag, he is responsible for this disaster, period
talking about being a fool etc, do you really believe that all these intelligence agencies, the pentagon, high ranking officers and men on the ground did not know how useless these afghan fucks are?
if you do believe that, you also believe in santa and the tooth fairy
this does not automatically mean that the taliban were armed on purpose
for me it means that the military industrial complex and its minions controlling politics just dont give a fuck anymore
