Yeah, I also prefer the politics and founding ideals of Switzerland over those of Norway - but for commoners, the standard of living is higher in Norway than in Switzerland. When people think of Switzerland, they think of rich bankers or German physicians flocking there in droves because of the better wages and lower taxes - but there actually are quite a lot of working poor in Switzerland, something that's not the case to nearly the same extent in Norway.
I personally would prefer Switzerland because there would be less of a language barrier, the scenery is even nicer and because it's close to where I live anyway (southern Germany). But from a neutral pov, I can't really say Switzerland is a better country than Norway.
Let's put it like this: that Switzerland, a country without relevant natural resources, is even in the conversation of being ahead of a competently run oil country is impressive in and off itself.
