This video is deprecated since french people largely changed their views on vaccine since 2020 ...

On the other hand this still applies:

watching the life leave an animal, at least for me personally, is one of the most heart wrenching things i've ever experienced. whether a chipmunk i caught in a trap, a chicken i raised specifically to eat, or a deer ive shot with my rifle. except fish, i'll clean 100 fish in a row without even thinking twice about it. and bugs, obviously bugs i could kill all day gleefully.

You didn't have to eat the chicken

sadly i did :(

cornish hens are bred to die before age 1. if they live longer they wont grow feathers on most of their body, generally can't walk well if at all, and have constant diarrhea and other health issues. i culled my entire herd 65 days after hatching and they were 6-8 lbs each cleaned. many kill at 50 days or so.

as compared to regular chickens that can be 10+ years old with proper care.

cornish are made to grow meat in as short of time as possible, then die.

Lockdown policies were never scientific. Fauci never wore a mask when he wasn't on camera.

most of those birds are due to some crazy selective breeding even beyond typical cornish cross birds. most of the factor farmed birds dont ever grow many feathers, and are selectively bred to grow their breasts 2x the size as is appropriate for that bird. then they overfeed them fat and protein well beyond the 16-18% mixes to speed it up even more.

cornish cross up until 6 months look like typical chickens, after that tho its yuck yuck yuck
