Anyone who constantly complains that burger king gets thier order wrong should be in favor of higher wages.

Maybe not 15$ an hour across the board, but perhaps if those people were getting paid more than dirt they would give a fucking shit about your food.

Also higher wages need to come with higher accountability. If youre getting paid 15 dollars an hour to not fuck up peoples orders in swamp duckin nowhere and the cost of living isnt that high, and theres someone that can do the job better, have fun finding another job.

If you think $15 will make McDonalds or BK workers give a shit, I have to respectfully disagree. These people work thankless jobs being treated like garbage by the general public. If everyone didn't treat fast food workers and entry level workers like dirt, that and a livable wage would help with the service we seek.

Unfortunately, being in retail or service industry = getting treated like crap.

Sitting in white castle waiting for a delivery.

These people are working way harder than I do and for way less pay.

FF places can gives those raises and it will not hurt them. It can be in the model. What FF place can exist without burger flippers?

If you take your reasoning to its logical conclusions then we would have no min wage at all, which is pretty much a nonstarter with most civilized peeps.

That's kinda what we're discussing - the possibility of what happens if you raise the minimum wage to above what an entry level worker produces. The price would have to go to consumers etc.

I actually do support the end of a minimum wage - Could you explain your stance on why you view the idea as a nonstarter? I've heard the "slave labor" argument before and just wanted to hear yours.

Except minimum wage hikes have been studied when they happen and they find no meaningful change and employment or business size.

I learned a new word recently. Economism. It's when people take econ 101 Concepts and apply them to the real world without any thought as to how the real world deviates from the ideal classroom scenario

By the way, the Congressional Budget Office themselves said the $15 federal minimum wage hike would cost Americans 1.3 million jobs, completely contradicting your beyond asinine point. Have you ever ran a business before?

Here are some accounts that disagree with you. (Even cnbc says we'll lose jobs lmao)

You deserve every bit of that crap you serve out.
You should be thankful they hire low IQ animals such as yourself.
