Beat? No. Spank? Absolutely.

Kids that don’t get spanked end up being coming SJW’s and no one likes those people, not even their own families or themselves.

What constitutes "spanking"?

The reason it is outlawed in many countries is the fact it's difficult to draw the line between the two. What is acceptable spanking? A certain proportion of people who spank don't do it in a composed manner but as an impulse instead. If you manage to stay cool while spanking why spank at all?

Gotta use all the tools in your chest, including spanking. Positive reinforcement works best, but when it fails, wrath of god woks as well. Better yet, beat up something they love. Take a baseball bat to the Xbox for example.

All this does is increase the chances of creating more losers unable to cope later on in life.

The research is pretty clear on this. Physical punishment and extreme parenting tactics just increase the chance to create more people with issues.

Millennials and Gen Z are no different than their parents/grandparents. Boomers and Gen X were breathing in lead from leaded gasoline and wherever else it was just nonchalantly being used and put into and you end up with the 70-80s crime waves and all the while probably all the emotional and physical abuse.

Kids are stupid and if you use physical punishment, you'll make them even more stupid.

too many parents have the issue of thinking a 5 year old cant be talked to to explain why something is wrong and why to not do it again. if u start that early its effective.

"if u hit them they might hit u" is as effective as hitting a child that hits u if u do it correctly. its just that hitting the kid back is easier.

start it early, verbally reinforce consequences, and you'll not only end up with a more well behaved child but a more logically thinking child.

you may also end up with a calculating, conniving, hedonistic and selfish manipulator. but it beats making a physically violent bully.

My mom once pulled reverse psychology on me when I lied to her about something. She just calmly told me she is disappointed and like an hour later, she said she was going to run errands and if I wanted to come with her and we might pick ice cream at Dairy Queen. Well got in car and she just drove past Dairy Queen and I was like "I thought you said we might get Dairy Queen"". She just replied , sorry honey I lied. I just sat in silence.

You are right about the manipulation though. My mom grounded me from my gameboy once and I just traded half of my pokemon cards to some kid at school for his gameboy. So all grounding me did was just have me end up with 2 gameboys that I could then use both to trade pokemon in Pokemon blue to evolve.

teaching a kid about consequences teaches them how to avoid them as well. bullies dont get manipulative because they dont care about consequences. being manipulative is a double edged sword for sure.
