Bunch of absolute BS

Might wanna hear what this dude has to say about your "deep systematic racism in the US". This a normal person not your average conspiracy nutcase like you.

Well, there is a difference between pervasive racism and systemic racism. The former is undeniable, but the latter goes even further than that. The idea of systemic racism postulates that racism is deeply embedded in the institutions of society, that the law and the court system is deliberately designed to uphold white supremacy and so on and on.

Anyway, relevant gif:

pervasive racism in the agents of the law enforcement system is systematic racism. there is no fundamental difference.

i have a Criminal Justice major with a statistics minor with all of my stats work in criminology and 10 years experience working in the legal system. but sure, find an uncle tom youtube video to fit your bias if you'd like.

i have serious issues with BLM organizations, SJW nutcases who can't get real about the stats, etc. but you're just failing to see grey like i said.

in any case, feel happy knowing i take you as seriously as you take me.

There is. Systemic racism postulates racism to be embedded in all structures and institutions of society, independent from the short-comings and inclinations of individuals. This is also the reason why the woke and BLM crowds have moved on from "dont be racist, whitey" to "being non-racist is not enough for white people, you still benefit from white privilege. you can only make up for that by becoming outright self-loathing in the rhetoric and policies you support on racial matters".

The question in the specific case right here was if Chauvin would have gotten a fair, unbiased trial in the absence of pressure from the streets. I'm not saying the answer is an emphatic "yes", but at the same time, I can't say with confidence that the answer is "no" either.

What are a few examples of systemic racism today?

Like actually in the last couple of years, not things like redlining 40 years ago.

Serious question.

Uncle Tom is a racist term. For someone who majored in criminal justice with a minor in statistics and works in automation development, you certainly are dumb as shit

North Carolina's voting law that was struck down because they closed polling places and disallowed voter ID based on which racial demographics were likely to use them.

It was passed like, right after the Supreme Court struck down the voting rights act as "not needed anymore".

That's my go-to, because it shows how the supreme court got the issue massively wrong, and is a clear cut case of systemic racism.

lmao, voting ID laws? Surely there are better examples.

Fun fact about the MLB thing that happened a few weeks ago. So they ended up moving the all-star game to Colorado because of the new Georgia law proposals. Ironically Colorado has voting ID laws already on the books, similarly to what Georgia was trying to implement.

Honestly, can't make shit up.

Apparently it's only racist in states that are swing states and need to be made more blue but not in other states.
