What indeed. The Biden administration blamed the Trump administration for hostilities, and now finds itself in a situation where they face unprovoked Iranian aggression. It is almost as if the administration's position was founded on false pretenses.

The Biden admin has maneuvered itself into a corner in this regard. They cannot let Iranian aggression and expansionism go unchecked. They cannot retreat from the ME entirely either, since that would inevitable lead to a creeping destabilization of the entire region, first via a cold war between Saudi-Arabia and Iran, then a hot war between them which sets the entire ME on fire.

However, unlike the Trump administration, the Biden admin has a strong moral claim and must, to save its public image, uphold at least the pretense of caring about silly nuisances like human rights, the Kashoggi murder and such. Hence, they cannot uncritically and unconditionally align themselves with the Saudis like Trump did. But they also can't snub SA too much (like Obama did) since they need a friendly and strong SA to keep Iran in check. Then again, they can't emoblden SA too much either because the Saudis aren't actually any better than the Ayatollahs (see the atrocious war in Yemen).

The Biden admin has to walk quite the tightrope in terms of its Middle East policy. Let's hope that Biden, Blinken and so on have the ability to learn from the failures of their predecessors and finally get it right.

There isnt much I would change about the democratic system, there are issues with lobbying etc but those wont change because thats where the abuse is.
The republic no longer holds the power which is bad, we are supposed to have the power.
Money is the power now, not the ability to elect, because it costs so much to run for these positions.
There has to be a change in government and ecnomics, although there has been, it wasnt for us.
Its no about who bombs who, its about who has the power and who has the money.
Thats what this was all about, thats what it always has been about.

I agree, capitalism is a big loophole thats being used by all of the 1% because they know something the college grad doesnt, money is the game and they already lost by racking up that school debt.

I do plan to use this list of grievances and getting some change out of it. I have a friend from op greenway (you should check it out, its on wordpress) he is helping me and I do plan to take some local action against the abuse.

and about the button pushing, I just feel very strongly and deeply about the dilemma, I would love to change it. But they dont want it to happen and we cant be very upfront with it because that might cause some bad bad cause and effect.

So If some action is to be taken RN, I think we need to start uniting under the american flag and understand that they have broken the social contract, and THEN! once we have our people we will decide whether or not it is the time for weapons or to just fire those in gov rn. But hey, those greedy fucks love their cash, but do they love it more than their life?
