No, the "Southern Strategy" was LBJ's plan to provide just enough subsistence level welfare to minorities that they could survive, while claiming Republicans would take that subsistence level away. The follow-up on that strategy was to remove the welfare to structured minority families, and only provide it to single mothers, breaking up minority families. The next step of the strategy involved mass imprisonment of minority men, preventing them from the vote. It worked great, too. Ask Biden, he wrote the bill that accomplished that last part.

Whether you want to admit it or not Republicans are the current part of the KKK and white supremacists. Why do I vote for Democrats? Because it's a choice between Democrats who will pussy foot around the issue and pay it occasional lip service, and the Republican party that is still actively implementing racist policy and getting smacked down by federal judges for doing so. Not much of a choice there, the complacent party is better than the ones actively going the wrong direction.

The Democrats are the party of the KKK. The Democrats are the party of the Southern Strategy and destruction of the minority nuclear family. Democrats are the party constantly harping on race, and Democrats are the party that are still attempting to utilize identity politics to avoid discussing policy.
