It would prevent him from ever being able to run for office again.

As well as losing many other benefits, etc.

I think it's despicable that people are that worried about him getting office again that they'd go through such measures to prevent it. It baffles me that they wait till after he leaves office to impeach him, yet whenever he made sexist comments on live debates it was okay to go ahead and vote him in? Maybe I'm missing the logic here.

He was already impeached once.

This is the second time, and it's a direct result of things that took place in his final weeks.

Well obviously not the majority of peoples best interest considering Trump lost the popular vote twice and still won the presidency once

Impeachment is the due process. Conviction is a different story.

So he didn't get convicted, that's why there's another impeachment? Sorry haven't been following this since the Stormy Daniels scandal.
