Statistically, a real marriage doesn't exist anymore unless you are rich. The reasons aren't as brutally simple as finger waving at divorcees.

It has been my experience, while anecdotal, that often external factors compel people to remain married, such as for financial reasons such as they are reliant on their spouses income or to conserve the family unit in cases with children. The reality is it a major financial blow to someone to go through a divorce. While often the financial impact disproportionately effects males it is a hardship for both parties. This is further complicated with potential governmental outdated bylaws that could impose additional penalties on divorcees.

While I am "happily" married and have been now for 5 years I would not recommend it to anyone.

*edit -my wife's parents divorced after a 38 year marriage... her mother is a 71 year old divorced woman living alone, I would assume you all could imagine how financially devastating that was for her.

The answer is that not everybody accepts that his misses must be in charge of literally everything. I feel sorry for you bud

-Women in their prime are encouraged to go to school - instead of having children first and then going to school. Women are even less likely to get married after schooling
-women are encouraged to play male roles and brainwashed into hating female roles
-rampant obesity
-rampant cultural polygamy
-divorce culture and alimony
-welfare
-abortion

People play life like a game according to the rules that are in place. Our current situation doesnt allow ~70 of society to succeed at marriage anymore.



Some people succeed and thrive still. But not many. It really doesnt look good for most.

marriages used to work better when divorce gave u a scarlet letter and jobless and without education women were forced to remain married as a way to survive.

there's more evidence that monogamy isn't as natural to humans as we think than there is for any of the silly conclusions you draw just to denigrate progressivism.

I prefer the choice where 80% of society works. And women were happier ironically.

Your point is true though, and it is why its so hard not to laugh at atheists whose premise towards marriage is “wed be better off behaving like animals”.
