It's a bomb. It doesn't matter if somebody happened to be there or not. When you're bombing an institution over political disagreements, it's terrorism.



Protests are fine. Freedom of speech. Do not compare a bombing to inspire terror to achieve a political goal (RE: Terrorism) with speech.

...and? I lived through the tail end of the cold war. We were at war with the communists, yet there was a communist party within the United States. I would not have tolerated terrorism against the communists either.

Multiple things can be bad at the same time. If it was a KKK-like church? Fine. You wait until there's an attempt to incite violence, and lock the ringleaders in a cage. You don't simply bomb the church and say, "fuck it".

Political speech, even that which you find completely disgusting and reprehensible is still protected, until it passes into incitement, at which time legal action by law enforcement can ensue. At no point is terrorism justified in this matter.

The moment you justify terrorism as a valid method of dealing with that which you don't like, you open yourself up to terrorism being used against you.

Based on your own judgement, the Pulse Nightclub shooter was fully justified. His Imam told him the Hadiths classed homosexuals as animals, and killing them was a mercy. Therefore his murder of 49 people was fine. Because it was a mercy, according to what he thought was correct.

No? Don't like that idea? How about Dylan Roof? He thought that black on white crime was so extreme, that he was personally at risk and had to take action, and killed 9 people. If he hadn't, he might have got shot by a black guy!

No, see how absurd it is? You do not excuse ANY terrorism. It's ALL wrong. Because no matter how justified you THINK you are, you do not have the right to take anyone else's life "just cause". If you believe you DO have that right, then you're opening everyone else up to take your life instead.
