US still has overall military advantage, especially if they keep pushing the 'Space Force' military investments. The US drone warfare technology is way ahead of others on the world stage. Drone swarming and complex role-based automation have already been demonstrated. The next conflicts between superpowers are gonna be drone warfare with human collateral damage. Either AI controlled or coked out US/Chinesemen duking it out over some unfortunate country.
Some neat shit in the last few years. Unknown 2 year mission on military shuttle.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_X-37https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7Gi6gQXQ3c"Astronomer Jonathan McDowell, editor of Jonathan's Space Report, has stated that satellites launched from the X-37B were not reported, as required by the Registration Convention, to the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs so other parties to the convention would not know about them.[36]"
"The Chinese Space Program landed its first reusable winged space plane on 6 September 2020.[37][38][39][40][41][42] It was reported to weigh 48,000 lb (21.6 t), and be 29 feet (8.8 m) long, i.e. closer to size of the X-37 than the space shuttle.[43] Knowledgeable commentators speculated that the Chinese built their space plane to follow the US's X-37 example.[44]"
Musk has even made a few passes at hyping drone warfare.
“The competitor should be a drone fighter plane that’s remote-controlled by a human, but with its maneuvers augmented by autonomy. The F-35 would have no chance against it,”
