I care that the people doing so had the intentions to take hostage, representatives of American democracy. Many of these people ex military, and used military style strategy in this attempt.
There were plenty of people just protesting outside, even calling people out (though ironically they were calling them antifa). That isn't what you're defending though.
You're defending ALL of them, by attempting to downplay what took place a few weeks ago.
Your defense of these people is only even possible because of how inept they are, not because their intentions were good.
