Well, right now im in southern georgia getting about 30k a year and planning on moving to portland oregon soon, theres a lot of factors. You can get an apartment cheap around here and I budget my food super hard and dont eat out. But there are people that'll waste their paychecks [or welfare lets be real here] on stupid shit and spend the rest of the week blaming everyone but themselves, I know shits gonna get real when I move and that living will be more expensive but im ready for it. Also if you have kids when you're making what im making you are just asking to be poor thats not even in the conversation far as im concerned.

30k...that’s rough bud. You could make more money working for amazon or in a factory. Go to trade school my dude. I pulled 50grand in a year bartending when I was 22. There are opportunities out there to better your life

If you're living on less than 50k a year for a household, there's not a lot of opportunity to "just do better with your money". When I was in that income bracket I'd try to save and it would always get wiped out by an unexpected bill. Lord help me if I had kids during that time. I could never stay ahead for very long as it was. That's roughly the average household income in the United States too, so that's about half of the country.

Well little fella if you keep making excuses you’ll never get ahead. Losers like you keep doing this. Stop making babies before you can afford them. Also I paid for my college tuition and my own apartment on less than 30k a year. Now I make 50 with a mortgage and I’m not even 30 with a stable career, all by myself.

There is always opportunities to better yourself with money you’re just entitled and think u deserve everything right now

I'm far ahead of you in terms of income and probably stability. I'd hazard a guess that most of the forum makes significantly more than your current income so you should really stop relying on your own success being impressive. You're probably at or below the level of career success most of us experience.

Cost of living is dramatically different all across the country.

This isn't a crazy concept. 50,000$ a year where Thor lives in CA is not even remotely equivalent to where I live.

A million and one different factors play into the "how far $50K/year will get you" gameshow.

50,000 a year - when properly budgeted - provides people near me a comfortable life with a moderate home mortgage (1000-1500 sq foot nice home) and free money to enjoy.

$50000 in Metro CA means you're basically homeless.

I’m smarter than you. I know it, because you type some of the dumbest shit I’ve ever read and I read a decent amount. Just like snipa you must have a disorder when you are insulting people for making a living. Nice one, little guy

Edit: you live in CA all makes sense now

When my wife and I were making ~50k together we were living in a place where cost of living is 60% of the national average. That's why I feel pretty comfortably extrapolating my experience to everybody because it's probably close to the best experience you can have.

Yadadadadadada keep thinking your something. You can’t replace me with one of your stupid machines. But your disorder prevents you from recognizing that
