eating poor means cheap veggies, cheap soups, cheap everything
do you know how much crap they put in the higher-priced items? the addiction implementations?
when you eat cheap you eat naturally
food isn't expensive until your ego comes into play

the exception here is eating out (and not pussy but sure why not)
eating out is whatever. eat what u want at whatever price is good for you. most fit people don't eat outside all of the time. most fit people control their own intake it's not a chef's roll to mandate

Fresh vegetables and fruits aren't cheap at all. A McDonald's cheeseburger is cheap. You're daft.

Did endless sky embrace the troll and make a multi to spout garbage or just another low iq /troll thread

In regards to colon cancer one of the top 3 most common it is strongly correlated to socioeconomic conditions measured by education and income

If you’re in this group be careful and get your colonoscopy:)

i binned a large stock of celery for 99 cents Today.
i binned a thing of mushrooms, large white, for $1.69
i binned spinach for like $2.50
i binned a large white onion for 79 cents
i binned green onion for $1
few of which contain many minerals or vitamins, sure.
but i also binned a sack of spices, many spices, for $6 at bulk barn

if the only fruit you are buying is dragonfruit, sure, that's not cheap
apples are cheap.
tomatoes are cheap.
kale is cheap if you go to the right shop

if your concern is money, go to a cheaper shop. you are an adult you already know this

That's not cheap though. You just listed 12.79 worth of stuff, that's like 10 cheeseburgers.

in general if u scratch cook meals u can get surprisingly close to mcdonalds price per meal or even beat it. the issue is it requires bulk buying and planning, not to mention a LOT of prep cooking time.

the argument generally shouldnt revolve around price, its convenience and ignorance. people just dont do cooking from scratch anymore, the corporations made stuff too convenient and people forgot.

its the main reason community garden initiatives ive been involved with are such slow starters. what good is a dozen bushels of tomatoes when not one person in the whole neighborhood knows how to make sauce or can something?

it takes a LOT of hours to turn my garden into a freezer and root cellar's worth of food, hours most people dont have using aged knowledge most people dont care to learn. thank god for vacuum sealers tho, i use the hell out of mine because i hate canning.

100%

and with the inflation Mcdonalds isnt that cheap anymore. dollar menu went to value menu and its not hard to beat like 6$/meal at home cooking for yourself especially if u grow anything or to farmers markets

i had a buddy that we asked to go to the farmers market and he said "hipsters overpaying for vegetables, no thanks". he ended up coming because of the food trucks, but bought a bunch of veggies, fruit, and even some meat from a local beef farmer. he was shocked how cheap the prices were.
