Im so happy im far away, fucked up things happen in politics all over the world, but america stands out lately^^ just the possibility of trump damaging the us for another 3 months before he will hopefully face the charges.. whew.. well lets see.. he can only evade charges by staying president and putins slave for another 4 years. The fact that „make america great again“ works again after 4 years of making america a joke and burning it down^^ quite funny, but otherwise its jailtime, its quite obvious why he would do basically ANYTHING to stay in the white house rn. Only thing you cant blame him for I guess.

No, Barack Obama won the nobel peace prize based entirely on campaign promises such as pulling all troops out of Iraq and closing Guantanamo Bay—promises which he failed to deliver or even move toward in any meaningful way in eight years.

Obama’s peace prize was awarded in 2009, which means his nomination came months into his presidency, before he even had a chance to do anything meaningful in the way of world peace.

Trump is nominated for brokering a deal between Israel and the UAE, which is at least something he did and not something he’s promised to do in the future.

I’m not saying that Trump deserves the Nobel Peace prize, btw, just that historically the peace prize has rarely gone to people who actually deserve such praise. Andre Sakharov, the physicist who put nuclear arms in the hands of one of the greatest mass murderers in history and endangered the entire world won the Nobel Peace prize. The totalitarian government he trusted with doomsday weapons would not allow him to leave the country to accept the prize so his wife went in his stead—she was a pediatrician in a country that orphaned millions of children. She was the type of person who is actually deserving of a peace prize.

He was given the Nobel Prize because he was the first black President and as you said, because he made a lot of promises that didnt end up coming true. To be fair, Obama tried to work with the Republicans during his first term and after realizing how utterly pointless that was an how badly they butchered the ACA, he did manage to achieve some small victories after 2012 that helped make his Presidency at least mediocre overall. He wasn't by any means good, but Trump has been a walking disaster.

In all honesty Trump was the right man. As mentioned before in this thread he has been successful in his talks with North Korea. Unemployment has been shit for a long time. Chances are even if Biden gets in people will still complain about unemployment. Employment wont get better imo until the governments actually start working for the people and not the big corporations. There is a lot wrong with America. It will eventually get better or we gonna collapse hard. We need to quit focusing on the other parts of the world. Let Europe handle shit on that side of the pond. They are obviously in a better position. We already pulled out of the WHO. The UN should be next. America spends more time on world problems then its own problems been that way pretty much since ww2.

Unemployment was the lowest it had been in ages and Trump tried taking credit for that, even though he hadn't done anything to impact job growth in the country positively. You can't take credit for something as a main selling point for why you're amazing and then say it doesn't matter when it's bad, shit doesn't work like that for normal thinking individuals.

As far as not caring about other countries, I'm all for fixing things in America first, but it's been setback after setback on that end, so kind of a moot point.

He goes against everything the Republican party has stood for in the past, he wipes his ass with the constitution, he's openly stated he won't accept a loss in the election, he goes on vacations over 2/3s of the year, he only *works* 3 hours a day, unless you considering Tweeting and watching Fox/OAFN as working, and he's a moron who's never known what it's like to really work a single day in his life. The man has zero redeeming qualities. Hilary was shit, Biden is shit, but it's not even close lol.

It's madness that his constituents are completely incapable of seeing how laughably bad he's been. How many people have to leave his cabinet citing incompetence and delusional behavior? How many times does he have to be caught red handed committing acts that negatively impact the country to benefit himself? How many fake scandals and lies does he have to promote to the US public? I could understand if he was doing amazing thing policy wise, but his victories are almost nonexistent, while the party of fiscal responsibility and moral integrity is pissed on like it's nothing.

The fact that he isn't playing puppet for the republican party is good in my opinion. Sometimes you have to kiss ass in this world. Just being able to talk to Kim without it completely going to shit is a win. We have needed to focus on North Korea for a long time. We should of been doing it when Bush was president. Instead we started a war with Iraq because a rogue Saudi Arabian group attacked us. The Republican and Democratic parties are both a major problem and have been for a long time. I never said I liked or voted for Trump because I don't. However he is far not the worse. Obama couldn't even be bothered when the Embassy in Syria was attacked let.
