Closest I came to actually using it was when I was a phlebotomist and had to hold down a patient who was clearly not all there. He was flailing around but was somehow barely conscious but they needed blood ASAP. So that was fun. Basically had to teach a new nurse how to actually hold somebody so I could get blood. He was trying to pussy foot around it like I was going to put a needle in flailing arm.

I had a code violent Friday between clocking out and going to my car, lol. Was an older guy with alzheimers. You are trying to stop them from falling while they beat the shit out of you lol. We ended up putting two matresses on the floor of a room and let him tire himself out trying to get up.

You will see notes in the chart like "KICKS FAST WATCH OUT" from the nurses lol.

Its a weird sector of the economy.

Worse thing about my job is wearing a mask 8 hours.

We've had to help restrain people with covid and nobody is rushing to do that. Its like putting on MOPP 4.

You conservatives LITERALLY advocate a society where single moms have to work multiple jobs to feed their children or become homeless and shamelessly attack any kind of welfare, so do you think a) this woman should stay with her child 24/7 in case he has a rare meltdown on the street corner they live on because homeless thanks to you or b ) go to work and hope to god he is ok in the home they live in because not homeless because she went to work?
