Let this be a lesson to all vegans. Not eating meat obviously kills brain cells.

Suicide by pig truck. This guy is a failed vegan guys.

Of course I'm just a huge piece of shit to you because i believe humans have rights but I'm inclined to agree with you. Protein and lipids are important.

I'm not big into conspiracies, BUT I do think some of these fad diets (vegan, no carbs, no fat, etc...) are all ways to literally make humans depleted of brain cells. Pretty sure your brains requires carbohydrates to function.

but to OP... i am not understanding all this non sense recently of people standing on roads in front of semi-trucks ...

I'm vegan, and my brain is bigger than all 3 of yours combined.

- thinks no meat at all and "meat-heavy diets" are the only two alternatives
- makes conclusions based on that simplistic world view

right wing idiocy, lack of nuance, and anti-intellectualism on display

The hypocrisy in offthevoid's post is truly stellar.\

I agree that if you eat meat even though you know meat is bad, is a bit of a dubious thing to do. I do this myself as well, though I do feel a bit proud of having cut maybe 75% of the meat of of my diet in the past year.

What's far worse though, is pretending that meat isn't bad, and just carrying on with your life and ignoring all the environmental consequences.

Well.... I wouldn't agree that meat is bad, as such. Factory farmed, hormone/antibiotics filled meat is disgusting on all kinds of levels (health, environment, ethics, ...). But having your own animals for slaughter, buying from a bio/eco co-op, (ethical) hunting can be fine.

Is meat bad specifically because of environmental concerns, or is there something more? What about dairy, eggs, and shellfish? Fish?

You haven't even seen how big my head is though.

More protein = bigger brains. Look at how much bigger South Koreans are than North Koreans, and that is just a few generations with different food distribution systems.

You're obviously very smart, but it is in spite of your veganism ;)

(I tease)

Well since i have some dough i can buy free range antibiotic free chickens from the Amish in Ohio....but purchasing that Ethical Experience through capitalism is a function of privilege and conmodifies ethics into yet another thing measured in dollars (see Marx's commodity fetishism).

Meat isn't bad you wanker. We have evolved to be able to get nutrients from it, just like many other species. It's one of the reasons why we have become so dominant as a species. Mass production of meat is also not bad. There was a time when only the select few in society can take in this dietary necessity regularly but the modern world has made meat available to pretty much all classes. That's called progress you privileged idiot.

- Meat is bad for health if taken in excess, and many people, especially americans, as example, are eating vastly too much.
- Predators, superior, species, are a super small minority in the ocean of species.
- Dominance is not that related to meat. Lets do a strech to primates who eat fruits.
- Mass production of meat is absolutely catastrophic, ecologically.
- Whole world population eating meat like fatfucks would be instant ecosystems destruction.

Honestly it's hard to find words to describe how wrong you are.
