It seems like a general consensus among people I know that mainstream news is garbage. My problem has been to find an alternative to "mainstream" news that people can agree is reliable and not as slanted as the big networks. To be fair, I haven't looked much, but when I check CNN every morning it is getting almost comical just how anti-Trump they are and how they position their editorial and "opinion" pieces in such a way as to present them as objective news pieces.
C-SPAN was probably our best bet, as it was just a camera aimed at Congress and you can tune in to see a direct source but a lot of that isn't what Americans want to see.[/colro]
