Had to study the theories of attraction for a seminar in my undergrad minor, and had to hold a presentation about the bioloigistic aspect of it. I read a lot of/about the work of David Buss on evolutionary biology back then. But even before that, my personal beliefs about how attraction works were fairly close to this worldview, so it's not like I just uncriticially adopted it because I was randomly assigned this topic.
