Simple people think those are easy to solve things, they're not, they're systemic and in some ways first world issues that most of the globe would love to have because it speaks about the living standard of that country.
The right at least doesn't try to raise taxes with such a backdrop. Can you imagine dealing with all of that and having someone on the left raising taxes by 5, 10%?
And someone on the right raising your taxes hits my pocket book differently?
The house I'm moving into is going to cost ~500 a month in property taxes for the area and I would not call the local government liberal lol. Then over 1000 a month between wife and I on income and state taxes, in Ohio, not what you would call liberal. When Feb-Mar rolls around I'll get a fuckin tax bill that will probably equal a paycheck.....2017 was ~2500...2018 was better because we went with zero deductions and paid maximum taxes throughout the year...was only a couple hundred bucks. I think Trump enacted something that did benefit us on our last taxes, and I appreciate it, but some folks are really hurting too.
I don't feel like the liberals are taking all my money. I don't think it is the GOP either. My opposition to them is more based in their collective commitment to fantastic beliefs and their gross incompetence in governance.
I would vote Libertarian if they weren't such a freakshow lol.
