Bernie Sanders endorsed Cenk Uygur despite his history of naughty comments about women and Armenian Genocide denial, which he has since renounced
Then Bernie Sanders just now rescinded his endorsement of Cenk Uygur

I really never thought I would live to see the day that both houses of congress had passed resolutions acknowledging the genocide. I wish my grandparents had lived to see this.

Yes and one of my grandfathers was born on the forced march through the Syrian desert. A lot of members of my family died during the genocide, like with every other Armenian family.

People fought for so long to just have what happened acknowledged. It's surreal to see it finally happen in the US.
