Look , someone totally beneath me when it comes to this topic. If you were smart you would read what I am saying about this because you probably have parents that are getting old and I've ran over 4000 care episodes.

my parents worked hard and tucked money away so they wouldn’t have to worry about shit healthcare messing up their universe. not bad for a once working class still minority family that was dealt nothing but disdain from privileged lefties like you.

I remember growing up hearing slurs hurled at me by pale pasty privileged lefties like you all because my parents chose to love each other. just made me laugh then like you crack me up now with all that pent-up aggression

then again you just assume everyone you disagree with is worth hating. maybe take it easy on the rage-induced conclusion

Glad your parents have a million dollars cash necessary to live out a handful of years together in a structured environment before they die. $500k buy in to the nice place my wife's grandma is at, $30k a month.

I'm just a social worker and my wife is just an engineer so we aren't gonna have it that good....we still have student loan debt.

there’s a form on the tax document where you can fork over all your income. it’s assumed to be an overpay in taxes and you have 3 years to claim a refund. If you don’t they keep it

Ok. They must be proud of having a son who knows so much about so many things.

And when things fall apart, and they will, because your parents will get sick, likely become demented and die, and some privileged lefty in the helping professions will be there to help one parent manage the other, and if their kids are worth a shit, will help one of them manage the remaining one's decline and death. If that kid is you, if you're worth a shit enough to stop your life and be there, you will be there with me or someone like me who will be your spirit guide through the river styx and you will be grateful.
