I understand people that still support him and approve of his actions in spite of his racist, misogynistic, and idiotic behavior, but if you're in denial about something this obvious, you're an idiot and nothing you say matters.

It'd be the same as any Dem claiming that Hilary was a perfect candidate who never did anything shady. It doesn't matter if you support someone over the opposition, you should still be able to see and discuss their faults without having a full breakdown and screaming buzzwords at people.

1. something Trump said that's blatantly racist

2. something that he said that is midly racist

3. something he said that isn't racist but the media reported it was


im just curious what you might think fall into each category.

Why would I bother? I've learned that I'm never going to convince anyone of anything on the internet. People have their opinions and evidence is irrelevant when emotional bias is all that matters anymore.

why would you assume i'm trying to get you to convince me of anything? i can put things he's said in all 3 categories. if you can't it's likely due to you having too much emotional bias the other direction. i'm just curious for an example after reading your post. if you just wanted to post and didnt actually want any conversation my apologies.

it's totally normal to reject judges based on their heritage when you're not a racist.
it's completely normal to discriminate against renters based on their skin colour.
it's entirely reasonable to question the first black president's birthplace, has of course nothing to do with race.

as long as you can't show them a video of trump saying 'i hate n-words', there's nothing he could do to make his apologists admit what's blatantly obvious to the rest of the world - and i bet even then they would claim he was just 'trolling' and point to some photos he took with people of colour, and that he had a jewish accountant...

Trump isnt racist, he is opportunistic. He will love anyone as long as they are giving him something. That may seem racist sometimes because right now he is playing to the deep water head southern bells of the country. Once he loses in 2020 watch him change his tune I bet.

This is a huge part of the problem. Far too many people equate his particular style of cluelessness with trolling. He's rich, so clearly he's not stupid, so anything stupid he says is just trolling whiny liberal cucks, duh.

You can't convince people of what they think they know. While I personally detest the actions of the current administration, I could at least respect a supporter who was capable of accepting his obvious faults and discussing what they perceive as triumphs.
