I am curious how he acquired his AK-47. If someone can confirm, but didn't another recent shooter use an AK variant? These are full auto assault rifles, hence illegal. I think the 19 year old kid who shot up another Walmart a week ago used one. How the fuck are 21 and 19 year olds getting AKs?

But as I said before, I think the real problem goes much deeper. I think we as a society have something ill with us. Part of me wants to blame the internet and social media. I look back at previous generations and, while they had newspapers and what-not, they were at least afforded the luxury to live in their own relative worlds without the constant bombardment of information. Now days, if you want to find hate, just go on the internet. Want to get desensitized? Go on the internet. Find an echo chamber, revel in it, and become radicalized. Hate, violence, narcissism, vanity, and decadence are becoming our future. I don't remember the Einstein quote off my head, but something like "Technology has surpassed our humanity".

Fucking Columbine. Everyone's a copycat now. Monkey see, monkey do. These shooters die for infamy. They see it on the news and another sick fuck out there thinks "Hey, I wonder it's like. I bet I can do it, too!"

Too bad he was taken into custody. Now we get to pay to feed him, clothe him, house him, and clean up his shit. Sometimes I think the Russians were right about some things. Send the guy to a gulag.
