Well maybe, you just didn't comprehend...

Let's try again...

1st Amendment...

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Exactly where in there does it say that this applies for all LANGUAGES?

/e Further... where does it say that this applies to signs on public establishments?

where does it say speech = english?

crazy thought, what if speech means speaking? that would be nuts, huh?

just when i think u bottom out you hit new lows. this has to be the lowest thought lack of a point with zero backing you've ever posted.

forcing someone to speak a certain language would be abridging their freedom of speech. you just prefer English, what if you were forced to speak German in America? would your preference to English not be protected under the first amendment?

China lost its culture to communism. They're really a blank slate as a result of the Cultural Revolution and 'Great Leap Forward'.

What we see today is the purest form of fascism since WWII.

Corporatism? Check.
Jingoism? Check.
Militarism? Check.
Totalitarianism? Check.

Yes, popular revolution with gigantic purges, and now about to become big brother authoritarian capitalism.

These are working too:

Uncontrolled Capitalism / Consumerism ? Check.
Religious extremism ? Check.
Neo-nationalism ? Check.

/nb: militarism should not be listed, it's only an effect.
/nb2: anything extreme is destroying cultures anyway.

yes we are talking about signs at private businesses being in their preferred language and because you personally don't like it you'd prefer stripping people of their rights. I prefer supporting the first amendment over being temporarily frustrated if I can't read arabic script at my local halal restaurants and food stalls. I'd go elsewhere to get food. any smart business will have both languages if they have a sizable customer base that speaks chinese and not arabic.

I mean they are specifically removing the islamic crescent moon, this again violates the first amendment when it comes to practice of religion.

In the grand scheme of things this is the right thing to do if you want to preserve your culture.

I can see China thriving in the future whereas other countries will be struggling to prevent Sharia law and Muslims from taking over everything.
