at least we wont have to hear conservative commentators blame the post-buzz slide in the ratings on them moving away from conservative storylines.

to hear them tell it when the showrunners moved away from "I voted for trump" rossane this caused the same flood of viewers to leave that the NFL is "currently also seeing". the first few episodes were of course hyped, and NFL games and other sports are the most streamed events. these people dont understand the internet.

well, the show itself may not have been particularly conservative, but roseanne very publicly supported trump and shared many beliefs with devout cultists. so given how 'liberal', or rather anti-trump most tv and movie stars and shows are, it was one of the few that right wing snowflakes could proudly watch, and so they did.
i mean that's basically a bulletproof concept: create (or revive) a show that features a star who publicly supports trump (and isn't a complete racist nutjob), and millions of conservatives will watch it no matter how bad it is...

finally, something we can somewhat agree on. Frasier was a damn good show.
