The Germans pushed for and made the switch to the euro as a European currency would be relatively cheaper than what the Deutsche Mark was, so they can sell a few more cars.

at the current rate the EU is falling apart either way, the UK is leaving already, poland, hungary and the czech republic will be next

thats kinda funny when europe, especially france and mitterand, forced the euro on germany for their consent to the german unification
we are selling our stuff to bancrupt countries and then have to save them with our tax money (i wont even mention target 2 and other instruments), isnt that a great system
that "germany is exploiting the euro zone" narrative (when its exactly the opposite) outside of our country is so ridiculous, i can barely believe it :lol:
