so I get the facts on this one straight:

The FBI cleared Flynn of wrongdoing pertaining to russia on Jan 23rd, finding no incriminating evidence
Trump had dinner with Comey on Jan 27th, and then "Attempted to obstruct justice" retroactively or something
Comey sat on this for 4 months straight without saying a word about this attempt to obstruct justice
even though he is required by law to report attempts to obstruct justice or be himself guilty of misprision of a felony
and just now it comes out after he's fired

Did I get the timeline right?
I mean I guess there some question as to how good a case of misprision could be possible given the 'active' component of concealment

This honestly feels like the MH370 "news" that we had on 24/7 for about 2 months but to the nth degree. It's like... dawg if you find something where you can take action let's say impeachment proceedings even something prosecutable report it but to continue with this trash day in and day out is really going to desensetize the American public. I feel like it's already at the point where people see these headlines and aren't even phased.

Comey obstructed justice for months in order to provide himself cover and an alibi of sorts since drumpf "obstructed justice" - on an issue (flynn) that had been cleared by the fbi days before
