So there's never been one pilot who traveled in one direction to rearrive where he started? A trip around the world? Anyone who tried "got shot down?"

We are no longer giving credit to "gravity pulling everything toward earths core"?

Does the earth even have a core? How can it have a core if it's not spherical? Is it just dirt and if you dig too much you end up in space?

There are commercial flights in existence today that would be impossible with a flat Earth, like Australia to South America. QF27 and QF28, for example.

i don't think you're familiar with the flat earth model, the north pole is the center of the map so any flight paths you are referencing that do not travel directly over the south pole (which doesn't exist on the flat earth model) are possible.

They are possible in theory, but their distance would be too great for a non-stop flight. It would exceed both the fuel capacity of any commercial aircraft and the maximum attainable speed to cover the distance in the time that they currently do.

Hmm I see what you mean now. I wonder how FE theorists account for this different distance when flattening the globe. Is it possible that the common FE model is not accurate to how the think the world is shaped? I'm very curious now.

that's true, im just more surprised that such a simple and fool proof critique isn't used against literally every flat earther ever. It should be an easy refutation of the entire idea and anyone seriously trying to argue for it should have to pass that gate first. I've listened to quite a few interviews and counterinterviews with people like NDT and no one mentions this that i remember.
